i'm a hongkong indian of south indian origin ...i used to visit india for every 3-5 years ...infact i never understand what was this caste system is all about ...and my mother tongue is cantonese and telugu although i speak a bit of english and french as well .....i used to watch indian tv serials and i learned a lot about indian culture ...but my parents recently told me that we belong to scheduled castes and we are being treated as untouchables in india ..so it was during 1880's ..many dalits were taken as slaves to hongkong,singapore and burma ...so to confirm this ...i just started my journey to india and i really found there's really a lot of discrimination towards dalits especially in towns and villages . ...i'm a doctor , very fair and handsome and i dated a lot of asian and european women here in hongkong ...but when i asked a forward caste girl to marry me ..she was just reluctant to accept me ..just because i'm a dalit ..and i was really so surprised ...i have seen many fair and rich dalits to the ugly poor brahmins ..but unfortunately people are not choosing their partners outta their community ... while almost all the indians are more or less the same .then why do they still care about this stupid caste system ?your country is not safe at all .. almost everyday i could see lot'f atrocities,bomb blasts ,strikes,terrosim....etc ...oohhh ! i'm gonna pack my luggage to hongkong ...chalooo hongkong in this april ..oh my god .!!.this's really a dangerous country..i just cant stay here anymore ....not but not least I WANNA BREATH OXYGEN ..BUT NOT THESE HARMFUL TOXIC GASES RELEASING FROM THOSE HEAVY LOAD TRAFFIC VEHICLES ..

Is it advisable to apply for an Indian Credit Card? I am a Computer Science Engineer. I am afraid that I may become bankrupt if I obtain an Indian Credit Card and use it. I am having an Indian Bank Debit Card. I have never used a Credit Card in my life. I feel Indian Banks cannot compete with Foreign Multinational Banks. I am confused which Credit Card to apply for. Okay so I was born and raised in the US and throughout my life I encountered out loud racism for being Indian. I am happily married now (to a Latina but she looks kind of like a White brunette girl, Italianish) and a father of a one year old kid. Now people have told me be proud of being an Indian guy and embrace your heritage and what not. I mean what is there to be proud of? Lets be honest, when people in America think Indian guy they mean some guy with a funny accent, when it comes to the dating pool Indian guys are near the bottom (even below Asian guys), Indian people have this strict uptight arranged marriage culture, and majority of Indian men in my experience have not been too nice to women either. I mean you can dig out all the stuff about how Indians are "bright" but a large majority of the stereotypes towards Indians (males especially) are highly negative and all that. So what can an Indian person in the US actually be proud of?

Hey, I'm a young lady of 14 I'm 5'5 "still growing" and weigh 112 lbs And I get my braces off June 20. Now, I would like to start modeling and acting to make money and become famous but where do I start? I already have an agent to make me a picture portfolio as soon as my braces come off but how can I start acting? And what are good agency's? I am near Dallas Fort Worth area. I need tips also just on anything please!!

Does anybody know of some real modeling or acting agencies that I can contact? I was currently looking at an agency called QuickBookAgency where I had to send them 3 pictures of myself etc. After about 2 weeks they said that I had passed phase 1 and that they would be sending my pictures to 4 agents and if they all agreed then they would send me a letter in the mail and accept me. Well they accepted me but I found out that I needed to make an entry payment which pretty much signifies that they are not trustworthy. So does anybody know of some good agencies that are not going to rip me off?

Well I would really love to start acting and modeling like more than anything but I don't really know where to start. And I know I probably don't have to quite softball to start acting and modeling but I kind of want to because it takes up my weekends so I can't see all of my friends. And I'm kind of done with it. So my question is really how do I tell my parents that I want to start modeling and acting and stop softball? And please don't just say they are your parents they will understand I just want to know what to say? Also where do I start? What steps should I take to become a model? And are there any acting classes near Portland oregon? Any information would really help. I'm also a 13 year old girl about 5'4" and I am really outgoing except when it comes to my parents I get a little shy I don't know why I just do?... But please help thanks!

Resolved Question: Should I get my money back from a modelling/acting agency?
In January 2012, I signed up with this agency in my hometown. I paid over $7,500 altogether which included acting workshops, a modelling/acting course, 2 photoshoots, and distribution of my photos on their web site. To Make a long story short after I had finished the modelling/female enhancement course which they make you take before they find you any jobs because it is mandatory you are expected to sign up for something called CMTC a supposed modelling/acting convention that takes place near Toronto every year in May. This convention costs over $2000 and is a 4 day convention where supposed agents fly in every year from different countries in the world to "scout different models and talent." Apparently hundreds of people turn up at this convention and only a handful of people are chosen to get callbacks. To make a long story short before I attended this convention it was required of me to sign a contract stating that i be with them for three years. Anyway, because i had already been rejected twice on two different fashion auditions that I attended I was quite hesitant to sign this contract. So about a month ago I consulted with a lawyer who told me that they were a scam and that even though I signed a form stating that I wouldn't get a refund on this convention that I still had a good chance to get my money back through small claims court. Today I decided to step into their office to pick up my comp cards that I had previously ordered. They told me while I was picking them up that I was kicked out of their agency's roster for good because I had posted an unacceptable remark on their youtube channel. The worst thing I said in that remark was that I didn't become a supermodel. If any of you have any advice about small claims or have experienced this before. Please answer to your best extent as to how I should go about defending myself on the youtube comment. Also, believe ir or not this agency has represented a top supermodel for the past 15 years, and this agency has also been around since 1990, so I'm surprised that they haven't gone out of business for 22 years. I am only 19, so this will be my first time going to court, my mom is also assisting me with this whole thing. I am from the province of Ontario so I'm not sure how the court would respond to my case.
