Resolved Question: Can anyone recall an old movie on Doordarshan named Asambhav. I remember seeing it in 80' on Doordashan?
Just to clarify, I am not talking about the new movie Asambhav released in 2004 starring Arjun Rampal etc. I guess it was a tele film aired on Doordarshan in mid eighties. have no clue about the artists of the movie and whether it was a Hindi movie or a dubbed in Hindi. I watched it in my childhood days. I guess the name of the movie was Asambhav. It was a story of a retired old man. One night a Yamdoot ( read death ) comes and tells him that his time is over on earth and he should be dead now. Somehow the old man is able to convince the yamdoot that he has lots of responsibilities to complete towards his family and he can not leave them now. Yamdoot gives him a time of one year to complete all his work and says that he would come back after one year on the same day, same time to take with him.And as he has to take someone with him right now he will take one of his dearest with him. Next day the old man finds that one of his dear friend is dead. He takes the last nights incident seriously and tried to complete all his pending work.However, later he decides that he will not go with yamdoot and when he comes he will stab him and escape from death. On the decided day, the old man sits in a dark room waiting for the yamdoot to arrive and kill him. When the door open at the specified time he pulls the knife and stabs into the person who enters the room, Later he realizes that he has in fact killed his own son. The yamddot arrives later and says to him that he got aware of his plans and he changed the time of the clock so that the old man should not be aware of the correct time of Yamdoot's arrival.Yamdoot takes with him and the film ends. I guess the moral of the movie is you can not escape from death. This is what I can recall. Has anyone seen this movie?

Actually, I have watched it 3 days continuously. That is a story of Rebirth and revenge. If i ever get Sudarshana di, i would ask him that as the story is good, so to add some mysterous songs and music in order to make it more enhancing. I like the dressings and make-up of Parijaat but not of Anamika. I would tell Sudarshana di to change the dressings of Anamika and to make it beautiful. Do anyone support me?
