This was shot for the 2006 calendar, which was a spoof on the old social super hit movie of ever green starsJeetendra, Rekha & Maushumi.
The was movie was "Maang bharo sajna".
I shot the crying Rekha's pic with model Rupa Kamath but couldnt proceed to shoot the rest of the cast ie Maushumi and Jeetendra.
Thus the layout couldnt proceed further and this photograph got wasted but not anymore. Here it comes on Flickr.
The original pic is a coloured one but with thehelp of a software Virtual Painting 5 .. I gave the pics all these various painting effects.

The film was widely popular, and widely imitated. It also represented the film début for Dimple Kapadia and the first leading role for Raj Kapoor's son, Rishi Kapoor, The movie is known to be a trend-setter in its own right. It introduced in Bollywood, the genre of teenage romance with a rich-vs-poor clash as a backdrop. Numerous movies in the following years were inspired by this plot. Indiatimes Movies ranks the movie amongst the Top 25 Must See Bollywood Films. The film became a "blockbuster" and was the top grossing hit of 1973; it also became the second top grossing hit of the 1970s decade, and placed 10th in the all time box office hits. ARUNA IRANI, Aruna Irani is an Indian actress of mixed Irani Zoroastrian and Hindu background. An accomplished actress and dancer of her time, Aruan Irani has acted in about 300 movies, with many memorable acting performances to her credit. Producer-director Indra Kumar is her brother and film director Kuku Kohli is her husband. Aruna Irani made her debut in the movie Gunga Jumna (1961) at nine years old playing Vyjayantimala's character as a child. After doing several small roles in films like Jahanara (1964), Farz (1967), and Aaya Sawan Jhoomke (1969), and pairing with comedian Mehmood in films like Aulad (1968), Humjoli (1970), and Naya Zamana (1971), she finally shot to fame with her brilliant performance as an aggressive gypsy woman in the super hit Caravan (1971). By that time, however, she was emotionally involved with Mehmood and did not focus fully on her career. Their relationship also ruined the chances of her getting the heroine's roles. Yet, Mehmood gave her lead roles opposite the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Mehra in the films that he made: Bombay To Goa (1972), Garam Masala (1972), and Do Phool (1973). The success as a heroine still eluded her, and ironically, the newer actors and actresses that she supported became stars while acting with her: Jeetendra in Farz(1967), Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in Bobby (1973), Jayaprada in Sargam (1979), Kumar Gaurav in Love Story (1981), Sanjay Dutt in Rocky (1981). She ended up doing vampish and supporting roles, mainly because her memorable performance in Caravan had already typecast her in such roles. To her credit, however, Aruna Irani seriously took each role and delivered nice performances, thus endearing herself to filmmakers and creating a niche for herself. No other actress of her time could have done full justice to her role of a seductress out to rob the teenage hero Rishi Kapoor off his innocence in Bobby (1973). Throughout the 1970s and early 1980s she appeared in several supporting roles, notably Roti Kapada Aur Makaan (1974), Do Jhooth (1975), Khel Khel Mein (1975), Bhanwar (1976), Fakira (1976), Laila Majnu (1976), Sargam (1979), Qurbani (1980), Aas Paas (1980), Love Story (1981)and Kudrat (1981). She finally won her first Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for Pet Pyaar Aur Paap (1984). In the late 1980s and 1990s she switched to playing motherly roles, notably in Beta (1992) for which she won her second Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award. She also got very famous acting in many Gujarati films and some way changed trend and played as main protagonist.

Shantaram. Her mother Jayshree was also an actress, and was the second wife of V. Shantaram. Her brother Kiran Shantaram was a former Sheriff of Mumbai, Maharashtra in India. Rajshree was an actress in Indian Hindi films during the 1960's. She was known for her classic beauty, acting and dancing capabilities. She was launched by her father along with Jeetendra in the film Geet Gaya Patharon Ne. She also starred in popular hits such as Bhramachari and Jaanwar with Shammi Kapoor and Shehnai with Biswajeet. She left films shortly after marrying an American, Greg Chapman, in 1967. They have lived in Los Angeles since 1968 and they have one grown daughter. Although unconfirmed, in a private press conference, Rajshree admitted to being a huge fan of both öf the television shows 'Sliders' and 'Laguna Beach.' BISWAJEET Biswajeet , full name Biswajeet Deb, Bengali: is a Bengali/Hindi actor. He was born in Calcutta, West Bengal, but later went over to Bombay to do some memorable Hindi films. After a couple of hit films in Calcutta like 'Mayamrigo' (1960) and 'Dui Bhai' (1961), Biswajeet went to Bombay. In 1962, he catapulted to fame with his superhit film, Bees Saal Baad. Even though Shammi Kapoor was the reigning heart-throb of the masses and considered the king of romance in the 60s, Biswajeet was a name to reckon with during that time. He acted in notable films like 'Mere Sanam' (1965), Shehnai (1964), 'Yeh Raat Phir Naa Ayegi' (1966), 'April Fool' (1964), 'Do Kaliyan' (1968), and 'Sharaarat' (1972). He was mostly paired with top actresses like Asha Parekh, Mumtaz, Mala Sinha and Rajshree. His films often had popular soundtracks, causing the films, and Biswajeet, to become even better-known. Biswajeet also appeared in Rekha's debut film Anjana Safar (1969),(later re-titled Do Shikari) Though Anjana Safar was blocked by the censors and not released until 10 years later in 1979, a scene from the film which shows him kissing Rekha appeared on the pages of the Asian edition of Life magazine. In between acting in Bollywood movies, Biswajeet kept going back to Calcutta to act in Bengali films, like the superhit Chowringhee (1968) with Uttam Kumar and much later, 'Srimaan Prithviraj' (1973) and 'Baba Taraknath' (1977). In 1975, Biswajit produced and directed his own film, Kahte Hai Mujhko Raja. He also acted in the film with major stars, such as Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha, and Rekha (reteaming with her after working with her on her debut film "Anjana Safar" in 1969). Because of the star-studded cast and R.D. Burman's music, the film did moderately well at the box office. Later he went back to acting. Biswajeet has been married twice and has three children. He has a son and a daughter from his late first wife. His son Prasenjit is a superstar in Bengal and has been the number one star of Bengali cinema for more than a decade now. His elder daughter, Pallabi Chatterjee, is a lesser known film and television actress. Biswajit currently lives in Bombay with his second wife and their daughter Shambhavi.

Ce blog fait partie de mes bonnes résolutions pour l'année qui commence. Il est voulu comme l'ébauche d'un partage des concepts et des idées qui me paraissent importants ; parce que je ressens simplement le besoin de les exprimer et d'en discuter ouvertement. Partant d'une observation très naturelle : dans mon environnement social, il n'y a tout simplement pas de place pour les choses qui sont pour moi importantes. Quand cette place est là, je la nie, ou bien je l'aborde en retrait. Peut-être que tout se passe comme si j'avais séparé ma vie en deux, sans m'en rendre compte ; un univers intime, humain et ésotérique empli de compassion, absent de mon autre univers social maladroit. C'est comme si toute confrontation entre l'un et l'autre me plongeait dans un état de malaise profond. Je ressens le besoin urgent de réconcilier le premier et le second. Peut-être que l'univers que je me suis construit s'est fabriqué avec l'intime conviction qu'il serait jugé ou incompris ; ou bien s'est-il construit comme un refuge isolé dans un environnement oppressant. De ceci il ne reste sûrement que des habitudes de l'esprit mais ces habitudes sont réelles. Je ressens le besoin de refaire l'expérience des réactions véritables de l'autre face à mon univers intime. Peut-être que l'habitude de ne pas exprimer son ressenti, quoi que ce soit qui l'ait induite, est sûrement la première cause d'intériorisation. Et c'est sûrement une mauvaise habitud ...
