Located underground in an unsuspecting decrepit building, C's has a floorplan that resembles a maze. The walls are filled with endless graffiti and it's probably the grimiest, dodgiest, shadiest bar I've been to while I was in Shanghai and I abso-fucking-lutely loved it. C's has much character to it - little rooms hidden away, cheap Chinese beers, indie-electro music and a diverse crowd. The place is windowless and the lights are dim. It makes the place feel timeless and separated from the rest of the world. A few jugs of beer and a few rounds of Chinese drinking game, C's becomes a happy place to be at. |
