Frantic

Went to a spot near Holywood called Chaya?it's a japanese/Italian fusion spot.
Not much to be said for the service?and the food was sub par for averaging $18 a plate. I have had better.

Another fun tidbit:

There was a lady and her adult daughter sitting behind us and apparently the lady was allergic to wine or something.

Well, she had a glass?.and the next thing we knew, she went in to convolutions and started projectile vomiting all over herself and the table.

It didn't look good.

All the while, the workers and management in the restaurant weren't doing anything. It took them at least 3 minutes to even *come* to their table and then another 5 minutes to call 911.

Let me paint you a picture: There were only 6 tables occupied in the entire place and the table that had the problems was less than 10 feet from the hostess; with at least 8 employees, and one floor manager, on staff at the time.

Once the employee started to make sound noise, a lady from the back of the restaurant heard what was going on and ran over to see if everything was ok. She was a nurse.

Finally, after the ambulance came and stabilized her, it looked as if she was "o.k."

The ambulance was parked in front of the restaurant for a better part of an hour, making our *dining* experience very interesting?.as they did NOT turn off their lights.

Once they left, in a strange way, I realized I was kinda soothed by the flashing red lights and wanted them to come back =/
