Bhumika Chawla (Hindi:?????? ?????, Urdu: ???????? ?????), born 21 August 1978, is an Indian actress. Her birth name is Rachna and she is affectionately called 'Guddiya'.

Early life
Chawla was born in Tamil Nadu and completed her schooling there. She moved to Mumbai in 1997 and started her career with ad films and Hindi music video albums.

Career
Chawla started off her film career in the Tollywood film industry, starring in the feature film Yuvakudu (2000) in Telugu alongside actor Sumanth. Her second release, Badri (2001), in which she starred opposite Vijay was a box office success. This was followed by several films in Telugu and three films in the Kollywood industry in Tamil.

After a number of critically and commercially successful films, she starred in her first Bollywood film, Tere Naam (2003), alongside Salman Khan. The film was one of the year's highest grossing films and fared moderately well at the box office. Apart from it, it was a critical success and her performance in the film won her many positive notices as well as several nominations for Best Debut at different award ceremonies. She was nominated for her first Filmfare Best Actress Award, and won the Best Debut trophy at the Zee Cine Awards ceremony. She is married to her yoga master-Bharath recently.


Jai Chiranjeeva (Telugu: ?? ???????) is a Tollywood 2005 film directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar. Vyjayanthi Movies produced the movie. The movie stars Chiranjeevi, Bhoomika Chawla, Arbaaz Khan and Rahul Dev.

Story
Sathyanarayana Murthy (Chiranjeevi) is a rough but kind man who lives in Amalapuram with his niece, mother, sister, and her husband. Sathya and his niece Lavanya share a special bond with each other and are the best of friends. One day Lavanya dies while playing on the swings. Sathya later finds out that she has been murdered by the gun-dealer Pasupathi (Arbaaz Khan) while testing one of his guns . In order to get his revenge Sathya must travel to the USA but the only way to get to the USA is to get a green card. The only way he can get a green card is to marry Neelu (Bhumika Chawla). The rest of the film is how Sathya goes to the U.S and takes his revenge on Pasupathi.

Bhoomika nouvelle mariée L' Actrice indienne Bhoomika Chawla n'est plus dans la liste des célibataires , elle vient effectivement d'épouser son ami de longue date qui est aussi professeur de yoga Bharat Thakur  . Le mariage été annoncé pour le 25 Octobre mais la presse fut prise de court puisqu'il se déroula le 21 Octobre soit quatres jours avant la date officielle . On peut la voir sur les photos tout de rouge vétue . Cette actrice a tout d'abord joué dans des fims telugu et remporta même une récompense pour son interprétation dans le film "Kushi" et ce n'est qu'en tournant en 2003 avec Salman Khan dans le film "Tere Naam" qu"elle se fit vraiment connaitre dans les films hindi (dans l'univers Bollywood) . Elle compte bien continuer à rester dans le monde du cinéma même après son mariage . Derniérement on pouvait la voir aux côtès d'Akshaye Khanna dans le film "Gandhi my father " .
